The annual network reception of the Flemish Community.

CONCEPT

Cornelis organised the Flemish tasting garden: a feverish network setting in which diplomats, political figures and creative directors met.
The Flemish tasting garden transformed 800m2 into an artistic botanical garden. Guests indulged themselves in culinary and artistic haute cuisine based on Flemish cultural traditions that would provide a steady flow of new meetings between people.

You could: print Callebaut chocolate on Jules Destrooper-biscuits, taste chocolate with through smell using a Belgian invention, transform a plant into a digital image through interaction with the Plant Scan by young talent Dries Depoorter and last but not least see the welcome speech and the plentiful snacks descend from the sky.

RESULT

This is the result of the project:

  • Sensational indulgence on 800m2 of artistic expression and Flemish hospitality.
  • Plenty of new meetings based on the culinary and artistic interventions of Cornelis Serveert that worked as conversation starters.
  • A fertile networking day full of inspiration, motivation and new connections.
